Can dogs eat human food?

I’ve always wondered about this—can dogs eat human food? I know some foods are safe for dogs, but I’ve heard mixed things about what’s okay and what’s not. Sometimes my dog gives me those adorable puppy eyes while I’m eating, and it’s hard to resist! But I want to make sure I’m not feeding him anything that could be harmful. What are your thoughts or experiences with feeding your dog human food? Are there any foods you’ve found to be safe, or should I avoid certain items altogether? I’d love to hear your advice on this!
